A Fresh, New Housing Development In Yate, Bristol
Ladden Garden Village is a new housing development situated in Yate, Bristol.
Yate is a town situated about 12 miles north east of Bristol and 15 miles north west of Bath. Yate boasts a generously sized shopping centre, including a 24 hour Gym, Cinema, Restaurants, and well known shops. It also has excellent transport links – the M4 is just 15 minutes away, and it has its own train station.
In recent times, Yate has grown in size, with several housing developments being built. Properties in Yate (average price: £248,040) are cheaper than surrounding areas, such as Frampton Cotterell (£363,665), Wickwar (£428,563), and Chipping Sodbury (£317,526).
You can find out more about Yate’s history in a blog we wrote a few years ago, “Why on Earth Would Anyone Buy a House in Yate?”
Ladden Garden consists of over 2,000 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms homes, and sits on 32 acres of space. The development includes a primary school, nursery, sports pitches, new offices, and large open areas. It’s also just a 10 minute walk away from Brimsham Green Secondary School.
There’s also plans for a care home, an employment space, nursery and two primary schools.
Just a stone’s throw away is Chipping Sodbury, a picturesque town and a gateway to the luscious Cotswolds. Find out more about Chipping Sodbury here.
Did you know? J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter fantasy series, was born in 1965 at the Chipping Sodbury Maternity Hospital (later the Chipping Sodbury Memorial Day Centre).
Both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are on the site – and both developers have just a few plots available. Both are also part of the Help To Buy Scheme.
